3 Kitchen Upgrades Trending Now

October 14, 2022 Posted by Giselle Bartolo Home Decor, Tips for Sellers

The kitchen is one of the most-used spaces in a home, so if any room deserves an upgrade, it’s this one! Need inspiration? We’ve got you! Check out these 4 upgrade ideas to get yourself started:

1. Mix open shelving with traditional cabinetry

Open shelving is big these days, but it’s not the best option for everyone (us included!). That said, if you’re into the ✨ open shelving aesthetic ✨ but want to maintain the ability to keep items out of view, consider incorporating both open shelving and traditional cabinetry to give yourself the best of both.

2. Choose colors for cabinets

White kitchens have been all the rage, but we’re seeing buyers turn toward bold shades – think deep greens, dark purples, and bright blues. While we love a clean look, we can’t help but think of a client of ours who has a two-year-old – she told us that while she loves her white kitchen, she doesn’t love how little her cabinets do to hide mess!

3. Swap your hardware

Ready for an upgrade, but not looking to go all out just yet? Consider swapping out your cabinet hardware. Some of our faves are stainless steel with clean lines to match appliances, black for a pop of contrast, or matte gold for a chic vibe.
